I started my road to horsemanship at a young age. I just knew that I was gonna be a cowboy. I spent most of my “trainer” life working with cow horses and friends with horses that had some sort of issue. I never really got paid for it on most occasions.
Once I decided to make this my career, I sought out the best in the business that I could find. For 2 years, I dedicated my time to intensive experiences, working for someone else and learning new and effective techniques. I could always speak horse, but the people I learned from made me a far better trainer today.
TRAINING PHILOSOPHY
I follow two specific philosophies:
1. Put the horse first, make sure his voice is heard, always.
2. Embrace the three S's: Simple, Sustainable, and Suitable.
